At the Youth and Government meeting this weekend, Alyssa Janoch was elected Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and Anna McGuiness was elected Governor. They will be fulfilling their duties when 275 students from around New Hampshire gather at the statehouse on April 5-6, 2019.
The purpose of Youth and Government is to prepare participants for moral and political citizenship in local, state or national government roles. Youth and Government provides guidance, training, and an experience in the American democratic process of state government. The goal of the club is to get students familiar with the state legislative process.
