ConVal High School To Administer Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS)

In cooperation with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) will be administered at ConVal High School during TASC on March 17, 2017.

This survey is about health behavior. It has been developed to study behavior that may affect student health. The survey is conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) every two years among representative samples of 9th through 12th grade students to monitor six types of health-risk behaviors that contribute to the leading causes of death and disability among youth and adults.

The information students give is completely anonymous and will be used to improve health education for youths in the state. Completing the survey is voluntary and students will have the option of not completing the survey. Parents who wish to review the survey questions ahead of time can see a sample of the survey here.
