The 92nd New England Music Association (NEMFA) Festival took place this weekend.
Eleven ConVal students qualified for participation, based on their outstanding evaluations on previous NEMFA solo and ensemble festival events: Grace Christensen (soprano), Isabel Dreher (percussion), Aria Drew (soprano), Sean Grady (bass), Paul Kelly (euphonium), Patrick Lacroix (bass), Sandra MacKay (violin), Olivia Mullins (clarinet), William Sennett (trombone), Emeline Tyler-Wall (bass clarinet), and Bronwyn Tyler-Wall (trombone).
This year, the Festival Concert was hosted by Woodstock Academy in Woodstock, CT, where three days of intense rehearsals culminated in a stellar concert by the all-New England Band, Chorus and Orchestra.
