Lucy Awards Recognize Theatrical Accomplishments

At the annual Lucy Award ceremonies in the Lucy Hurlin Theatre, new students were inducted into the ConVal chapter of the International Thespian Society, Troupe #7883.

The following received recognitions and awards for their contributions to the Drama Department’s productions throughout the year:

  • Rising Star — Cheyanne Heinselman
  • Charlie Chaplin Award — Quinn Potter as Self, Godspell
  • Best Onstage Chemistry — Mars Bernabeo and Anna McGuinness, Sprung: A Rite for Festival
  • Best Supporting Actor — August George as Earth-Toned Bird, Sprung: A Rite for Festival
  • Best Supporting Actress — Anna McGuinness as Presence, Sprung: A Rite for Festival
  • Best Leading Actor — Ryan Hoiriis as Darcy, Pride @ Prejudice
  • Best Leading Actress — Mars Bernabeo as Protagonist, Sprung: A Rite for Festival
  • Best Productions of the Year — a tie between Sprung: A Rite for Festival and Godspell
  • Best Set Design — Bruce Dodge, Godspell
  • Best Tech Design — Max Heck, Palmer Timmons, Addison Swasey, and Evan Boisvert, Godspell
  • Best Costume Design — Nick Batty and Elizabeth Halper, Godspell
  • Best One Liner — Patrick LaCroix, Pride @ Prejudice
  • Unsung Hero — Miranda Craig
  • Renaissance Human — Ryan Hoiriis
  • Most Likely To be On Their Phone — Becket Gourlay
