In what has become a ConVal tradition, incoming students are welcomed to ConVal Regional High School with a red carpet treatment and applause by their upperclassmen. This year, New Student Day will be Wednesday, August 30, starting at 8:00am.
Students will have an opportunity to get oriented to the school, meet with their counselors, get to know their TASC groupings, review and follow a mini schedule of their classes, and participate in a scavenger hunt. Here is the anticipated schedule for the day:
8:00-8:20 Registration and red carpet greeting (all students)
8:30-8:40 Welcome and opening remarks (all students)
8:50-9:40 TASC Groupings
9:45-11:00 Mini schedule of classes
11:05-11:25 Counselor time with students
11:30-12:00 Scavenger Hunt
12:05-12:30 Lunch
12:40 Buses depart for home
A special bus schedule is in effect for New Student Day.
