Sister Juanita Durgin, RN, American Red Cross instructor for the combined ConVal and Conant High School Certified Nurse Assistant Training Program, conducted a graduation ceremony for the eight students who completed the CNA training program during the second quarter.
Students had to complete 90 hours of class and 60 hours of clinical training, along with 5.5 hours of CPR/First Aid/AED. Program completers received a CNA certificate and two-year CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. The course typically costs $1,500 but was offered to the ConVal and Conant students for free.
