The ConVal High School Music Department welcomed the 39th Army Band and Alex Favazza Jr for their Visiting Artists Day.
ConVal, SMS, and GBS instrumentalists were treated to a concert by the 39th Army Band which features ConVal alum David Selmer (Class of ’13) on drums.
Their set-list included “Zoot Suit Riot,” “Uptown Funk,” “Saturday in the Park,” “Sir Duke,” and many more.
The choirs held a workshop under the direction of UNH Choral Director, Alex Favazza. He worked on repertoire for their upcoming concert on March 19th entitled, “She Hath Wings.”
The Chorus Concert is at the Union Congregational Church in Peterborough at 7pm.
