On April 6th to the 7th, the ConVal Youth and Government group went to the Concord State House to participate in this year’s YMCA Youth and Government Mock Legislature.
Anna McGuinness did a spectacular job as this year’s Speaker of the House. She worked efficiently and kept 200 fellow high school students productive and focused.
Matt Kolk and Evie Iwanowicz did a commendable job of defending their bill on voting reform in the House of Representatives.
Senators Rachel Cass and Anna Gombas were active in the State Senate as well.
Overall, it was a successful year for ConVal Youth and Government getting a couple of their bills signed into law by the Youth Governor.
