Rowan Inglis, Corey Ouelette, Evan Turner, and Abby Watson — all ConVal seniors and ATC engineering students — recently completed their SolidWorks Associates Certification while engaged in remote learning.

The CSWA exam is administered by Dassault Systèmes and is one of the most widely used mechanical computer-aided design (CAD)  packages in the world.

SolidWorks is an example of how certification can distinguish a standout designer or design engineer from the rest of the crowd.

Even in these times of COVID-19 and stay-at-home orders, ConVal students, teachers, and staff find a way to celebrate spirit week. For the last five days, a vigorous competition took place between five teams: freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and staff.

The ConVal Class of 2020, like seniors across the country, face the prospect of graduating without many of the time-honored traditions associated with commencement. Graduating in the time of pandemic means finding innovative ways to honor grads. With the possibility looming of a very different sort of graduation experience, ConVal High School parents, faculty, and seniors are finding ways to recognize their graduates.
