The Ewing Arts Awards are named in honor of Ruth and James Ewing, who made many contributions to the local arts community through their stewardship of The Keene Sentinel and through personal philanthropy.

The awards are made in 10 categories:

Students will choose from a learning menu of online resources and from curated texts which are provided to them in Google Classroom as materials to establish a sequence of events that has led the current circumstances in Venezuela.

Segmented turning is a wood turning technique on a lathe where the initial workpiece is composed of multiple glued-together parts. The process involves gluing up several pieces of wood to create patterns and visual effects in turned projects.

Congratulations to Mary Goldthwaite-Gagne who, after a rigorous selection process, will join the incoming cohort of Art21 Educators, starting this summer. In 2017, Miss G. was the recipient of the PBS Digital Innovators Award.
