RE: NHIAA Championships

By unanimous vote, the NHIAA Executive Council has enacted a resolution in order to fulfill its duties with regard to the awarding of State Champion and Runner-Up plaques and medals to teams participating in tournaments cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of the school building closures due to concerns over the coronavirus (COVID-19), the custodial crews at ConVal High School follow expanded cleaning protocols.

These include enhanced CTF (ceiling-to-floor) cleaning routines with QT-3 Hillyard disinfectant; this involves washing all walls as well as scrubbing table and counter surfaces throughout the building.

The Voices of the 603 Festival that was scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed by the festival chair.

No information has been released at this time as to when it will be rescheduled.

According to an email from Jeffrey T. Collins, Executive Director, New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association, all athletic events have been suspended until further notice.

ConVal senior Angus Kirkpatrick, an engineering student in the Region 14 Applied Technology Center (ATC), has received certification as a SolidWorks Associate.

The CSWA exam is one of the most widely used mechanical computer-aided design (CAD)  packages in the world. SolidWorks is an example of how certification can distinguish a standout designer or design engineer from the rest of the crowd.
