Last summer, students who had been awarded a PASCH scholarship from the German Goethe Institute participated in youth language courses in Germany. They spent their mornings learning German and had time to explore the German way of life in the afternoons.

Because their game was canceled due to transportation issues at the sending school, ConVal’s Unified Soccer Team played a scrimmage against the Cougars Boys Soccer Team.
The game was a lot of fun for both teams and showed off the skills that the Unified players had learned over the course of the season.

The Peterborough Town Library will host a presentation on homelessness with Yvonne Vissing, entitled “Before a Challenge Becomes a Crisis,” on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 5:30 pm.

The ConVal German Club invites you to participate in “Socktoberfest”! According to aid organizations, socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters.
The German Club sock drive will be collecting socks of all sizes and donate them to the homeless.
The following themes have been announced for Spirit Week October 2-6, 2023:
- Monday: New England Day
- Tuesday: Clash Day
- Wednesday: All Things Pink Day
- Thursday: BBQ Parent vs Soccer Parent Day
- Friday: ConVal Colors Day

As you may be aware, the ConVal School District is currently looking at configuration options for its schools and has contracted with Prismatic Services to provide an external perspective for that work.
On Saturday, September 23, volunteers and ConVal High School athletes delivered nearly 1,000 lbs to the Peterborough food bank. Cash donations were just over $270.
