Receive Texts From ConVal With Remind

For the quickest way to get news from ConVal, parents can now receive text messages on their smartphones. Remind is a communication service that is new to ConVal High School and allows you to keep up to date with relevant information, announcements, and late-minute changes.

To start using Remind, you can opt in by texting @cvhs03458 to 81010.

Sign Up Now For ConVal Summer Academy!

Registration is now open for ConVal Summer Academy.

The Academy is open to all students who are looking to complete required courses, are interested in enrichment courses, or need to make up classes through credit recovery courses.

This year, the course offerings are even richer than in previous years. The following regular and enrichment courses are offered:

  • Backstage to On Stage — Presenting “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr.” (Musical)
  • Basic Composition for High School Students
  • Ceramics: Mold-Making and Slip Casting
  • Current Economic Issues
  • Forensic Science*
  • Horror Fiction
  • It’s in the Room: An Introduction to Theatre Devising
  • Jewelry Making and Metalsmithing
  • Mathematical Connections through Modeling and Technology
  • Media in a Modern World
  • Political Issues
  • The Road Not Taken (Theme: “Our lives are defined by our opportunities, even the ones we miss.”)
  • Technical Writing for High School Students

In addition, the 2016 ConVal Summer Academy will offer:

  • Credit recovery courses in mathematics (Math Foundations, Algebra, Geometry Concepts, and Geometry)
  • Preparation classes in mathematics (Algebra 1 and Algebra 2)

You do not have to be a ConVal student to participate. Incoming freshmen are welcome.

Seats are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and it takes a five-student minimum enrollment for a class to run. Register early to guarantee a spot.
