ConVal Holds Financial Aid Night For Parents Of Seniors

The ConVal School Counseling Department partnered with the New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF) to present information about college financial aid options.

The presentation laid out the steps necessary to navigate through the federal financial aid process (FAFSA), explored what type of aid programs are available, reviewed scholarship searches, and highlighted the importance of meeting deadlines. Though applicable to all college-bound students, this program was specifically geared toward seniors and their parents.

The NHHEAF Network Organizations has over 50 years of experience in helping families plan and pay for higher education. The Organizations are comprised of three independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies: New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF), Granite State Management & Resources (GSM&R) and New Hampshire Higher Education Loan Corporation (NHHELCO). The interconnectedness of these organizations provides students and schools with expertise in all aspects of the student loan industry.
