2024-25 Course Selection Process Overview:  

Current ConVal High School Students (9th, 10th, 11th)

  • School counselors will be presenting course selection information to current ConVal students between 1/31 – 2/2.
  • Following that info session, students should review course selection information with their parents (Program of Studies, course selection sheet for their respective grade) to plan their course selections.
  • The portal to select courses will be open on or before Monday, February 5th for students to make their course selections online.  The window to make course selections online will be open until Friday, February 9th.  It is essential that students request courses in the online portal during this window.
  • Counselors will meet with students beginning on February 12th to finalize their course selections.

Current 8th Grade Students:

  • ConVal School counselors will be presenting course selection information to 8th grade students at their respective schools during the week of February 12.  
  • A parent night for rising 9th graders is scheduled for Monday, January 29 at 6:00, and will include information regarding course selection.
  • Following the presentation to students, students and parents should review the course selection information (Program of Studies, course selection sheet) with their parents and make selections on the sheet.
  • Middle school counselors will meet with students to finalize their course selections and enter them into the student information system.  
  • A tour for students of CVHS will be scheduled in the spring.
