ConVal Interact, the ConVal junior chapter of Rotary International, hosted a food drive to support local area food banks ahead of the busy Thanksgiving holiday. TASC homerooms competed to see who can contribute the most donations. Donations of non-perishable food items addressed the need for holiday foods. Boxes and cans of traditional holiday side dishes were especially welcome.
The results of the Interact Food Drive competition are as follows: Third place went to Ms. Hodgdon’s room; second place to Mrs. Morin’s room; and first place went to Mrs. Felegara’s TASC homeroom: her students collected over 90 items.
The total number of donations was over 400 items. Thank you very much to everyone who brought in food!
