Internet Essentials is a program by the cable company Comcast which provides home Internet service to eligible families at a very low cost.
Through this unique program, XFINITY high-speed Internet service with a connection speed of up to 15 Mbps is made available for $9.95/month plus tax. There are no installation charges, equipment rental fees, or long-term contracts associated with the service. Wherever the program is available, Internet Essentials customers now also have access to 40 one-hour sessions of XFINITY WiFi hotspots outside the home every 30 days.
