No School Today District-Wide, Update

At 6:00 am, November 7th, administration received a phone call from the Peterborough Police Department. Peterborough police shared that they were informed by a parent that she had become aware of an online threat to the ConVal school community. The police departments of Bennington and Antrim were contacted by Peterborough Police Department to support the investigation. Out of an abundance of caution and after consultation with local law enforcement, school administrators decided to cancel school for the day. Presently the police departments of Antrim, Bennington, and Peterborough are working together to investigate the threat, and are in the process of questioning the students who were allegedly involved. Closing school is never an easy decision, however our number one priority is the safety of students and staff. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we continue to work together to keep our schools safe for our students, our staff, and our communities. As we receive additional pertinent information from the police, we will update you.
