With their respective art teachers Karrie Mitchmyer, Ben Putnam, and Carolann Tebbetts looking on, students in 2D Studio Art, 3D Studio Art, and Ceramics present their portfolios to three first-block art classes in the library.
The portfolio presentations include discussions of what inspired students to do certain art pieces, the techniques that were used to make them, and the lessons they have learned from working on and seeing their projects through to the end.
“Although there is an evaluative aspect to these presentations, this is really a celebration of all the artwork that the students have made over the course of the semester,” said Ben Putnam.
