Congratulations to the recipients of the October Cougar CARES Awards who enjoyed an ice cream social at the beginning of TASC on November 4.
Faculty and students can nominate one student each month for a Cougar CARES Award. The goal is to recognize and celebrate students who demonstrate the actions described in the ConVal C.A.R.E.S. (Community, Adaptability, Respect, Engagement, and/or Safety) behavior matrix.
The following students were recognized:
- Freshmen: Isabella Dubuque, Nora Eliopoulos, Ben Michaud, Lucy Morris, Mackenzie Sazonick
- Sophomores: Addyson Charron, Madeline Desrosier, Maeve Finn, Bella Messa, Kalyn Ross, Suki Zhang
- Juniors: Jack Alonso, Jack Breda, Jessica Hendrickson, Emma Van Gemert
- Seniors: Hazel Armstrong, Doc Cassidy, Hayden Derosier, Keegan Ross, Avery Swasey
As Principal Heather McKillop noted in her congratulatory speech, this month marked the first time where the majority of recipients were nominated by fellow students.
