Congratulations to Fletcher Maggs who has been chosen as the January CTE Student of the Month. He was nominated by his Digital Photo & Video teacher, Lance Levesque, for “being a program leader, building positive relationships and mentoring his peers, and always coming prepared with the mindset to learn and be successful.”
Among his many accomplishments, Maggs has received 15 Scholastic Arts Awards, including one “Best in Show” recognition in the Digital Photography category of the Scholastic Awards. Based on his superlative photographic eye and his exceptional gift in framing subjects and scenes in nature with his camera, he serves as a Teaching Assistant in Mr. Levesque’s Digital Photo & Video class.
Maggs is also a writer, editor, and photographer for The Link magazine where his work has been published in conjunction with the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript. He has done work as a filmmaker for the CAST Department of Education “National Games Expo.” Finally, as the Captain of the ConVal Cougars Soccer team and Vice President for the Class of 2022, he also excels in sports and student service.
After graduating from ConVal High School, Maggs seeks to pursue a major in Film Production. Among his top picks for schools are the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, New York University, and Emerson College in Boston.
