Congratulations to ATC teacher Sarah Grossi who has been selected as a NH Teacher of the Year finalist.
According to a June 20 letter by Lori Kincaid, Coordinator of the Teacher of the Year Program at the New Hampshire Department of Education, the next steps on the selection process will involve speeches written by the candidates.
“The speeches are to help us determine you public speaking skills,” the letter explained. “As you are aware the Teacher of the Year serves as an ambassador for NH teachers and throughout the year you will have many speaking engagements in a variety of different venues.”
Grossi will be judged on delivery, content, and overall impression as she delivers her 15-20 minute message “as a leader for educators across the state.”
Good luck with the rest of the selection process as we look forward to seeing you chosen as the recipient of the Teacher of the Year honor!
