ConVal Art teacher Mary Goldthwaite-Gagne has been selected to be one of just 52 educators nationwide to be part of the PBS Digital Innovators program for 2017.
“PBS Digital Innovators set the bar for thoughtful technology integration in the classroom. These PreK-12 educators are not defined by the gadgets they use, but by the unique way they approach education. Their bold and enthusiastic perspective sets them apart as changemakers, and unlocks new worlds for their students.”
Ms. G’s acceptance letter read in part: “I am thrilled to share that you have been selected as one of the 2017 PBS Digital Innovators. While we received hundreds of applications from highly qualified educators like you, your submission stood out as the strongest from your state and you have been selected to represent your state as a PBS Digital Innovator.”
PBS Digital Innovators attend the PBS Digital Innovators Summit which is held this year in San Antonio, June 24 – 26, 2017. This three-day, all expenses-covered conference allows attendees to connect with fellow innovators and learn from renowned education experts. The Summit also includes a day pass to the ISTE Conference. The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the use of technology to aid in learning of K-12 students.
Congratulations, Ms. G, on your selection to represent New Hampshire as a PBS Digital Innovator!
