Max Sturges, a senior at ConVal Regional High School, has committed to play Division II soccer at the University of Tampa, where he will attend college in the fall.
A nationally ranked DII school, Tampa finished the season 25th in the country. The Spartans are part of the Sunshine State Conference (SSC), known to be one of the toughest DII conferences.
As a junior, Max led the Cougars in goals and assists, scoring 22 goals and assisting 11. In the spring of his junior year, Max joined the U.S. Development Academy program, playing with the Seacoast United Academy team, where he continues to play as a senior.
At Tampa, Max plans to study Criminal Justice, National Security and Intelligence, and Global Studies.
