ConVal junior Sam Rousseau has been selected to become a member of The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). The Society recognizes top scholars who have demonstrated superior academic achievement, outstanding leadership, and community commitment.
The announcement was made by NSHSS Founder and Chairman Claes Nobel. “I am honored to recognize the hard word, sacrifice and commitment that Sam has made to achieve this exceptional level of academic excellence,” Nobel wrote in a letter. “He is now a member of a unique community of scholars — a community that represents our very best hope for the future.”
Formed in 2002 by James W. Lewis and Claes Nobel, a senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes, the National Society of High School Scholars recognizes academic excellence and helps high-achieving students advance their goals through unique learning experiences, scholarships, internships, and peer networks.
Currently, there are more than 1,500,000 Society members in over 170 countries.
