On May 25, ConVal’s Michael Zrzavy and about 20 other seniors from private and public schools across New Hampshire and Maine were recognized at the New Hampshire State House with the 2017 Comcast Leaders and Achievers Award.
In attendance at the ceremony were Governor Chris Sununu and Tracy Pitcher, Senior Vice President of Comcast Cable’s Greater Boston Region. Katherine Underwood of New England Cable News (NECN) served as the moderator for the event.
“I’d like to congratulate this year’s Leaders and Achievers Scholarship winners on their well-earned, academic and civic achievements,” Sununu said. “Your continued pursuit of academic excellence is inspiring, and as you set out for the next chapter of your lives, we wish you the best of luck in your scholarly endeavors.”
“Comcast is honored to recognize our Leaders and Achievers Scholarship winners for going above and beyond – both in their own achievements and for the greater good of their communities,” added Tracy Pitcher.
Comcast’s Leaders and Achievers Program recognizes students’ leadership skills, academic achievement, and commitment to community service.
