Congratulations to Leah Stone (Class of 2019) who won the job interview competition at the National Educators Rising Conference which was held in Dallas, Texas June 22-25, 2019.
Stone was one of 36 competitors in the job interview competition from around the country. She was required to write a cover letter, a resume based on her actual credentials, and participate in a mock interview. For a more comprehensive article on the event, see this story in the Keene Sentinel.
Three ConVal students — Leah Stone, junior Tracie Dailey, and junior Molly Reed — had qualified for the national conference of Educators Rising.
The Educators Rising organization is a division of Phi Delta Kappa International (PDK), a professional organization that supports students who are interested in education-related careers. PDK helps guide young students on a path to becoming accomplished teachers, beginning in high school and extending through college into the profession.
