On Friday, the Region 14 ATC program finalized the installation of a new Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine in its Engineering Lab.
The Roland 540 was purchased with the aid of a Perkins grant. The machine will be used to teach students advanced manufacturing for today’s industrial needs.
Students have the opportunity to explore four courses in Engineering and Manufacturing achieving college credit through Manchester Community College.
Other machines in the fabrication lab include a smaller CNC, 3D printer, and Mechatronics assembly machines.
