Annual Winter Concert Delights Evening, Day Audiences

ConVal’s Annual Winter Concert was performed in the Gymnasium on the evening of December 20 and during the day on December 21.

The evening concert opened with the Peterborough Elementary School Fourth Grade Choir under the direction of Hannah Petrick. The children performed “Jingle Bells,” “My Favorite Things,” and “Auld Lang Syne.” Later, they joined the ConVal Concert Choir for an unforgettable rendition of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

Under the direction of Choral Director Brian Moore and Instrumental Director Jim Wickham, the main program featured the following ensembles and numbers:

The final number of the program featured ConVal music alumni who sat in to play with the band and joined the chorus for a singalong.

The in-school concert on Wednesday featured a shortened program. It was held during a special assembly for the entire student body at ConVal High School.
