Blended Learning Options Aid In Instructional Resilience

In the absence of their teacher from school, the students in Greg Leonard’s Block 2 US Economics and Government class continue to work seamlessly, preparing for their semester finals next week.

Because the blended learning model is fully implemented in the course, Leonard is in a position to provide the agenda for the class session, even at 6:47 in the morning. During the actual class, students work independently and consult individually with their co-teacher Tyler Mudrick when questions arise.

At a time in the school calendar when student and teacher absences related to illness are more frequent than usual, blended learning helps to ensure the goal of instructional continuation during difficult circumstances.
