Congratulations to Laramie Wilson, Alicia Connolly, and Bryson Boyce who were selected to attend the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Seminar as well as Avery Swasey who was selected as an alternate.
Each year, HOBY invites sophomores selected by their schools for promising leadership characteristics to attend the state leadership seminars to hone their leadership talents to become effective, ethical leaders in their school and communities. All four of these students have outstanding leadership qualities, and we are proud to have them represent ConVal High School at the leadership seminar to be held at St. Anselm College in June.
HOBY’s mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation.
HOBY stresses volunteerism, integrity, excellence, diversity, and community partnership. Through understanding and action based on effective, compassionate, and service-driven leadership, students learn to make a positive difference, both locally and in the global society.
