Careers in Education Students Attend Teachapalooza

Several of Sarah Grossi’s Careers in Education students attended the Teachapalooza Conference in Concord on Friday, April 7. Teachapalooza is an annual professional development conference designed for students in Teacher Preparation programs throughout the state of New Hampshire.

Teachapalooza offers workshops led by experienced educators and professionals that share strategies focusing on Social Emotional Learning for students and teachers. Students typically attend a career fair and participate in engaging activities related to education.

At the conference, the New Hampshire Educators Rising Competition results were announced. Christine Broderick and Wubalem Harrison came in 4th place in Children’s Literature (K-3). Zoe Nevers-Hiers, Angelina McCabe, and Kim Leroux came in 2nd place in Ethical Dilemma. They have qualified for Educators Rising Nationals in Orlando, FL, at the end of June.
