For weeks, ConVal Librarian Ashley Jones had left an illuminated, three-dimensional Tetris puzzle for students and staff to solve.
Since the puzzle came without instructions, no one knew if the final shape would be a pyramid, a square or a rectangle, or if the puzzle was solvable at all.
Many unsuccessful attempts came close but did not succeed — until Coach Paul Landau strolled by on his lunch break and put the geometric shapes into a perfect rectangle.
“The funny thing is, I didn’t play that much Tetris as a kid,” Coach Landau chuckled.
