ConVal High School was notified by the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association (NHIAA) that it will receive the Associations’ Sportsmanship Award.
In a letter to the high school administration, Executive Director Jeffrey Collins wrote: “On behalf of the NHIAA Sportsmanship Committee, I am pleased to inform you that you will be receiving the NHIAA/National Federation of State High School Associations’ Award of Excellence.”
“This award will be presented to your school for exhibiting outstanding sportsmanship this past school year. Your school was one of 31 schools that did not receive a game disqualification by a player or coach during the 2019-20 school year,” Collins continued.
“You should be proud of your athletic accomplishments this past year and our presentation to you recognizes your efforts to promote the values of ethics and sportsmanship in your school.”
