ConVal junior percussionist Tim Whitaker demonstrates the snare drum for the 5th grade at SMS Thursday morning. ConVal Band members showed off every instrument in the band to help the young students decide which musical instrument they want to pursue. The high school band also performed some of their favorite pop songs including Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries,” Paul Simon’s “You Can Call Me Al,” and Green Day’s “Holiday.”
