More than 125 families visited ConVal High School during Open House on September 22.
After being greeted by Principal Heather McKillop on the apron, families proceeded to the main entrance where they followed COVID protocols that are required for entry into the school, including temperature checks.
Once inside, families could briefly meet with school counselors in the link before attending TASC where they received a copy of their students’ daily schedules.
The remainder of the evening was spent in classrooms where parents could meet and interact with their children’s teachers.
On the way out, the ConVal School Store provided an opportunity to buy some ConVal swag.
“I was grateful to meet new families and to see many familiar faces,” Heather McKillop said after the event. “Anytime we can welcome parents and guardians to the building it is exciting, as we are one school community that truly cares about helping all of our students be successful.”
