ConVal Holiday Craft Fair A Success

The ConVal Holiday Craft Fair took place on Saturday, November 19, in the ConVal gym.

There were holiday decorations handmade by crafters and makers of all sorts as well hand-knit and crocheted clothing items by local artisans. In addition, representatives from national brands and direct sales vendors presented a wide variety of merchandise. Former ConVal High School Director of School Counseling Kim Chandler reserved a space to share her book Covered Bridges of New Hampshire, a photographic history of all sixty-one covered bridges in the state, presented in then-and-now comparisons.

A student-run food court offered hot meals (soups, chili, mac & cheese, meatballs, kielbasa), sweet treats (cookies, muffins, and brownies), snacks (popcorn), as well as coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and soda.

The Holiday Craft Fair was organized by the Class of 2023. The class advisors, Rebecca Dunn and Ashley Jones, were happy to see the tradition continue under the leadership of the senior class. Said Jones, “The students put a lot of work into organizing and promoting the fair. Their enthusiasm was reflected in the great number of visitors who enjoyed the event.”
