On July 11th and 12th, ConVal hosted a professional development workshop dedicated to science instruction, from the elementary level through high school. Sixteen teachers participated and all grade levels were represented.
NGSX is an innovative PD environment which demonstrates different learning pathways. Pathways involve face-to-face work in a study group and a multi-faceted web-based environment that supports the use of high leverage tools, tasks, and resources central to understanding classroom changes needed to support the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and the K-12 Framework.
