On Wednesday, April 5 ConVal High School will be offering a “Paying for College 101” night in conjunction with the Center for College Planning and NHHEAF for seniors and their parents. The event will begin at 6:30pm in the Lucy Hurlin Theatre.
The NHHEAF representative will explain to families how to read and understand the financial aid award letters received from colleges. The program will assist families in making informed financial decisions before selecting the college or university their student will attend. It will also address general financing options, questions about reporting outside scholarship awards, avoiding scams, and writing special circumstance letters.
The event is free and open to seniors and their parents.
