ConVal’s “Jeans Thursday” Supports Operation Santa

ConVal High School’s Community Fund recently issued a $400 donation to the Grand Monadnock Rotary Club in support of its annual Operation Santa.

In her communication to Club President Harry Wolhandler, Jen Kiley explained how the money for the donation was raised: “Our teachers have donated money for the past two months on our ‘Jeans Thursdays’ to go toward helping local families have a brighter holiday season.”

ATC Director Jen Kiley, English teacher Liz Moore, and Mathematics teacher Amanda Hinton jointly lead the Community Fund at ConVal Regional High School.

The Grand Monadnock Rotary Club (Club #6464) is dedicated to community service, with a special focus on youth development and health advocacy for people of all ages, locally, and internationally.

Club #6464 serves the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. It was chartered as a new club on July 1, 2020 following the merger of the Monadnock and Peterborough Rotary Clubs. The Peterborough chapter has a long history dating back to 1925 when the Peterborough Rotary was started.
