Five members of the ConVal Nordic team competed in a challenging 5K classic race last Wednesday, Feb 3, at the Dublin Nordic Center.
Top honors for the girls went to co-captain Eva Calcutt, who came in fourth overall in a tough field from Keene, Derryfield, Concord, and Souhegan. Following Calcutt across the finish line were Gwen Inglis, Laura Phillips, and Grace Phillips.
On the boy’s side, novice skier Nathan Klonel moved far up the ranks from his first race and finished the hilly course in a very respectable twelfth place.
ConVal travels to Lebanon on Wednesday, Feb 10, for another classic race, and will host their home meet at Dublin on Saturday, Feb 13.
