Registration is now open for the 2021 Summer Boost Program which will be held July 6 – August 5, 2021.
There will be classes in English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. New this summer, there will be mathematics courses in “Geometry in Construction” and “Art and Algebra.”
“Geometry in Construction” is a co-taught class that will allow students to become proficient in both geometry and construction trades competencies through hands-on activities. “Art and Algebra” explores how art and algebra intersect in our world in beautiful ways. When mathematics and art come together, students are often inspired, and they can start to see connections between mathematics and their everyday lives.
Classes are free and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Students can earn up to a full credit for each class, based on the student’s ability to meet priority standards and course competencies. Students who take double session classes can earn up to two full credits.
