On July 9, several ConVal singers — Sunny Badrawy, Bridget Grady, Lauren LeBritton, Liam McCall, Megan McClintock, Eve Pierce, and Haley Spitzfaden — had the unique opportunity to perform with the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood. The students were part of the Norway Pond Junior Minstrels who had been selected for a performance of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana.
The students spent three nights in Lenox, rehearsing twice with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and once on their own. They also tackled a challenging ropes course at Jiminy Peak and, according to Nina Pollock, President of the Board of Music on Norway Pond, “put on one of the most memorable talent shows in the history of talent shows.”
Congratulations on a spectacular performance with one of the most renowned orchestras in the world!
