With the resumption of in-person classes in the third week of January, students at ConVal Regional High School again follow CDC guidelines and complete daily COVID-19 check-in protocols.
Signage at the entrances serves as a reminder that all persons — students, teachers, staff, and contracted service providers — will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19.
After a series of questions about any newly experienced health symptoms (loss of taste or smell, fever or chills, cough, headaches, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches), the recent travel history and contacts with someone who is suspected or confirmed to have had COVID-19 in the past 14 days is being reviewed.
Finally, temperatures are checked with a no-touch thermal scanning thermometer before individuals can enter the school.
