ConVal Wrestling competed in the D3 state tournament at Bow High School yesterday.
Teams were allowed to enter one wrestler at each weight class. ConVal took fourth as a squad. The top three finishers from each weight class qualified for the Meet of Champions for next Saturday in Londonderry.
ConVal had 4 qualifiers:
- Max Vassar took 3rd at 126 lbs
- Cam Jordan took 3rd 132 lbs
- Trace Borozinski took 2nd at 285 lbs
- And Chris Robbins was again the D3 champion (at 145 lbs in 2020 and at 170 lbs in 2022)
This is an outstanding finish for the team, considering last season was Covid canceled.
The top three finishers this weekend at the Meet of Champs will qualify for New Englands.
