The Peterborough Rotary Club presented five Paul Harris Fellows at the Passing of the Gavel Dinner held at the Hancock Inn in Hancock, NH.
Community members Dorothy Peterson, Norm Makechnie, Barbara Miller, Bob MacDonald, and ConVal school counselor JoAnn Fletcher were honored as Paul Harris Fellows. Fletcher was recognized for her service as the Interact advisor and for her support of several community service efforts with that group.
The Paul Harris Fellow was established in 1957 to express appreciation for the contribution to the humanitarian and educational programs of the Rotary Foundation.
Peterborough Rotary members work to improve our community through several projects, the most visible of which are Rotary‐Wilder Park and the downtown holiday decorations. The Rotarians also support other local organizations, such as the Boy Scouts and the Windy Row Learning Center.
