The ConVal Spring Festival on May 31 brought a number of games and activities to the students at ConVal High School.
There were activity options on the calmer side, such as a quiet space for reading a drawing, chess, board games, and making cards for hospitalized children. Students who preferred being physically active could participate in corn hole, jam frisbee, kickball, “Just Dance” rhythm games, four square games in the bus lane, and flag football on the JV field.
For students more interested in mental skills games, there was trivia in the gazebo, a Dungeons & Dragons competition, “Minute to Win It”-style games, German games, and custom puzzle creations. Last but not least, there were opportunities for artwork, from elaborate face paintings to arts and crafts on the sidewalk.
The ConVal Spring Festival is organized annually around the release of the ConVal Yearbook which took place in the ConVal cafeteria where students picked up their copies and signed each other’s yearbooks.
