Congratulations to junior Lily Mafera, the November CTE Student of the Month!
Lily was nominated by her Careers in Education instructor, Sarah Grossi, for her exceptional work with young students during practicum. Mrs. Grossi shared that “Lily has gone above and beyond in her responsibilities for the Careers in Education I program. She is always prepared for class and is a collaborative and helpful team member. She has already volunteered many times to offer child care for our district’s Title I Literacy evenings at many of our community elementary schools. She has shown herself to be a leader in our classroom community and in her preschool practicum placement.”
Thanks to the generosity of the Peterborough Kiwanis Club, Lily has earned $150, $100 for herself and $50 to donate to a nonprofit of her choice. Well done, Lily!
