Twenty-two Art and German students traveled to New York City this past Friday and Saturday.
The trip included a visit to the Neue Galerie looking at 20th century German and Austrian art, including Gustav Klimt’s 1907 picture of Adele Bloch Bauer which is the subject of the 2015 movie The Woman In Gold.
Time was also spent watching the Metropolitan Opera perform Giacomo Puccini’s opera Madama Butterfly, walking along the High Line Park and exploring the Museum of Modern Art.
