German IV Students Win Goethe Institut Contest

Food topics are always popular in German class, and this year’s students of German had a special opportunity to test their skills by participating in the “Wie gut ist lecker” contest organized by the Goethe Institut in Boston. The competition involved students’ thoughts on sustainability and food.

At the conclusion of the contest, the Goethe Institut announced that ConVal students had won the top three placements. The following German IV students were the winners of the contest:

  • First place: Anthea Curtis and Tate Doherty
  • Second place: Lily Heck
  • Third place: Cameron Jordan and Elli Ward

The students will get to have a virtual workshop with a German food blogger. Congratulations!

The Goethe Institut serves as the German Culture Center for New England. Its mission is to engage in the fields of cultural and digital education and to focus on topics related to German-speaking countries being debated in the public and the media.
