German MIT Student Visits ConVal

Verena Hehl is a German graduate student at MIT where she is finishing her doctoral dissertation in Applied Linguistics.

Despite her busy schedule, Verena took time to visit ConVal’s German program and participated in classes with Frau Hodgdon and Herr Holding. She sang German Christmas carols, made a Christmas star craft, read a short story, and discussed which holiday traditions originated Germany.

In this picture, Verena taught students holiday-related vocabulary.
